Vineyard Church of London

The community of Vineyard Churches was birthed out of the Calvary Chapel denomination in 1974 when Ken Gulliksen started a small Bible Study in Los Angeles, CA. This fellowship quickly grew and spread into other homes and communities throughout Southern California. The movement began to take shape in 1982 under the leadership of John Wimber, who led the movement until his death in 1997. Today, there are over 1,300 Vineyard Churches worldwide, with almost half being overseas.
